Aix Hotel

Aix Hotel offers five room categories designed for stays as a couple, with friends or as a family. The Double and Twin Rooms measure 18 m² and accommodate two people; the two Triple Room layouts have the same floor area and can accommodate three guests. The larger 30 m² Family Room is designed for four people. All rooms have a private bathroom and air conditioning.

Depending on the category, beds are arranged as single beds, one double bed or two large double beds. The Triple Rooms differ in their layout: one has three single beds, while the other combines a double bed and a single bed. The Family Room completes the selection for small groups. Room amenities include a desk, a TV and heating; some rooms also have a telephone. The bathroom has a shower or a bath.

Aix Hotel’s reception is open 24 hours a day, allowing you to arrive at different times of day or night. Daily housekeeping is provided; luggage storage, a concierge service and private check-in or check-out are also available. A vending machine offers drinks. The Site-mémorial du Camp des Milles traces the history of the former internment and deportation camp; a visit offers important insight into 20th-century history. The Fondation Vasarely presents the artist’s works and visual research in a striking building. In the centre, the Musée Granet houses art collections, and the Atelier Cézanne lets you discover the painter’s workplace. Aix-en-Provence TGV is 6 km away, while Marseille-Provence Airport is 12 km away. The hotel’s free private parking makes travelling by car easier.

For a day in the city, take time to stroll along Cours Mirabeau, visit the squares in the old centre and explore a museum before taking a break on a terrace. The market and shopping streets also offer a glimpse of local life, while fountains line the city’s walking routes. The Provençal climate is well suited to outdoor activities for much of the year; in summer, it is best to plan walks for the morning and save the hottest hours for museums or a break in the shade. A car is useful for travelling between the different districts and places of interest around the hotel.
