Chalet Bellevue

Le Chalet Bellevue is an entire 100 m² villa, arranged around five bedrooms and accommodating up to eight people. The sleeping arrangements include three large double beds and two single beds. This layout suits a stay with family or friends, with separate rooms for sleeping and a shared living room. The villa has two bathrooms; one of the bedrooms also has an en-suite bathroom.

The balcony and terrace provide outdoor spaces, while the sea view sets this accommodation apart. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, dishwasher, hob, oven and microwave. There is also a coffee machine and a kettle. Air conditioning, a washing machine and a private hot tub complete the facilities. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Menton stretches between the Mediterranean and the first foothills of the Alps, on the French Riviera, near the Italian border. Its seafront, beaches and old streets make it a town of manageable size that is pleasant to explore on foot. The colourful façades of the old town climb towards Saint-Michel Basilica, while the gardens and palm trees reflect the mild climate for which Menton is known. The seafront is suited to walks and days spent swimming; the centre's narrow streets offer another way to discover the town.

Menton railway station is 450 m from the villa. The Biovès gardens, known for their flower beds and the Fête du Citron, are 320 m away. The Musée Jean Cocteau - Collection Séverin Wunderman is 730 m away; the museum displays works associated with the artist and his time in the region. Saint-Michel Basilica and Plage du Marché and Plage des Sablettes round out the places to visit and seaside spots to enjoy. From Menton, you can also follow the coast to Monaco or continue towards the villages of the Italian Riviera.

Summer days are well suited to the beach, swimming and walks along the coast, with visitor numbers higher in July and August. Spring and early autumn often bring pleasant temperatures for wandering through the old town, visiting the gardens and enjoying outdoor terraces. In February, the Fête du Citron livens up the town with monumental citrus displays and parades. A day can thus combine a walk around the centre, a museum visit and some time by the sea.
