Antibes draws visitors with its ramparts, port and old lanes; the town is well suited to both days swimming and cultural walks.

Plages du Midi is 1.6 km away, and the beaches of Golfe-Juan offer more places to swim along the coast. The village of Golfe-Juan, also 1.6 km away, has a port and seaside promenades. In Vallauris, Musée Magnelli and the National Picasso Museum “War and Peace” showcase the region’s links with ceramics and modern art. Antibes railway station, 3.3 km away, provides connections along the coast; Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 12 km away.

The warmer months are a good time to enjoy the beaches, terraces and coastal walks, but this is also the busiest season on the Riviera. In spring and September, the temperatures remain pleasant for exploring Antibes’ old quarters or visiting museums without spending the whole day at the beach. You can combine a visit to the Provençal market, the ramparts and the port, then go for a swim in Juan-les-Pins. Cannes, with La Croisette and the Palais des Festivals, offers another coastal excursion, while the inland villages provide a break from the seafront.
