The house has five separate bedrooms and is suitable for stays with family or friends. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor; three more are upstairs. Sleeping arrangements include single beds and bunk beds, with two sofa beds in the lounge. The entire house covers 200 m² and has two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower on the ground floor and the other upstairs. The bedrooms and dining room have reversible air conditioning.

The sleeping areas share the house’s amenities: a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, flat-screen television and Wi-Fi. Some rooms overlook the garden or inner courtyard. A terrace, balcony and private pool complete the outdoor areas. The layout combines upstairs and ground-floor bedrooms with a shared lounge, where the sofa beds provide extra sleeping space.

The private saltwater pool measures 6 × 12 metres and is complemented by terraces, sun loungers, parasols and pool towels. The enclosed garden has a barbecue, an outdoor kitchen, hammocks and a pétanque court. For entertainment, the house has a games room with billiards, table football and table tennis; outside, children can enjoy a swing, a trampoline and a playhouse.

The kitchen includes an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a large fridge, a coffee machine and a kettle. A washing machine, a flat-screen television and a computer are also provided. Wi-Fi is free throughout the house. Private on-site parking is free, and there is a charging point for electric vehicles. The house is wheelchair accessible and has facilities for guests with reduced mobility. Pets are welcome at no extra charge; bowls and a bed are provided.

Aix-en-Provence combines the lively atmosphere of a university city with the elegance of its pale stone façades, fountains and shady squares. The house is in the Luynes area, south of the centre, in a setting where gardens and Provençal country houses sit alongside the roads connecting Aix to Marseille. This location will suit travellers looking for a large house with outdoor space while keeping the city within reach by car.

The centre of Aix-en-Provence is about 10 minutes away by car; its old streets, markets and Cours Mirabeau can be explored on foot. Arena du Pays d’Aix is 500 m away. The Camp des Milles Memorial Site, a former internment camp that is now a place of remembrance, is 4 km away. Marseille Provence Airport is 15 km away. Simiane and Gardanne stations also serve the surrounding area, and a bus stop is 150 m away. Private parking makes getting around by car easier.

In spring and autumn, the days are well suited to walks around Aix and visits to its museums, including Musée Granet and Cézanne’s studio. In summer, plan outdoor visits for the morning or late afternoon, when the Provençal heat is less intense.
