Hôtel Azur

Hôtel Azur offers four room categories for one person or for two to three guests. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom and soundproofing. They range in size from 12 to 16 m². The Single Room - Courtyard View overlooks the courtyard, while the Double or Twin Room and Triple Room offer sea views. The triple category with twin beds and a shower adds another option for small groups.

Rooms have a TV and a safe; facilities also include a hairdryer and a desk. Some room categories have a refrigerator and, depending on the room, a balcony. The Double or Twin Room can accommodate an extra bed. Bed configurations vary: either one double bed, or one single bed and one double bed. The view, floor area and number of guests distinguish the different categories.

The reception is open 24 hours a day, and a wake-up service helps with early departures. Indoor facilities include a terrace, a safe and a laptop safe. Rooms have air conditioning, heating and soundproofing; family and non-smoking rooms are also available. An iron adds to the practical amenities.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Rooms include a private bathroom, towels, bed linen, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Depending on the room’s facilities, you may also find a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a desk or a washing machine. The hotel is on the Promenade des Anglais, in the western part of the city, near the Carras and Sainte-Hélène neighbourhoods. This stretch of coastline has a more residential feel than the lively centre, while still offering the chance to enjoy walks by the sea. You can alternate between swimming, walking along the promenade and visiting cultural sights.

Carras Beach is 390 m away and Sainte-Hélène Beach is 900 m away. The Anatole Jakovsky International Museum of Naïve Art, housed in Château Sainte-Hélène, displays works of naïve art 810 m away. Phoenix Park, with its gardens and botanical areas, is 1.6 km away. To reach the city centre, the Nice Museum of Fine Arts is nearby; Place Masséna and Vieux-Nice extend your visit towards historic streets and colourful façades. Nice Airport is 700 m away, while Nice Saint-Augustin railway station serves the area.

The seafront is pleasant to explore in spring and autumn, when temperatures are often mild and the promenades are less crowded. In summer, set aside time for the beach and an evening outing towards the centre, as the light fades over the bay. You could spend the morning swimming, visit a museum in the western part of the city, then explore Vieux-Nice and its narrow streets. In winter, the Mediterranean climate still makes it possible to walk along the Promenade des Anglais and visit museums without planning a stay solely around the beach.
