In the nearby streets, the Charles Nègre Photography Museum hosts exhibitions devoted to photography. The Palais Lascaris, a former 17th-century aristocratic palace, showcases historic interiors and collections. Place Masséna and Jardin Albert Ier extend the walk towards the newer districts. Nice-Ville train station is 1.3 km away; the tram and bus routes connect the different areas of the city.

Nice can be visited year-round, with frequent sunny days and a livelier atmosphere in summer. In spring and autumn, mild temperatures are well suited to walks through the old streets and along the coast. For a varied day, you can start at the Cours Saleya market, continue with a cultural visit, then head to the beach or walk along the Promenade des Anglais in the late afternoon. Castle Hill also offers walking trails and viewpoints over the bay.
