Hôtel Les Arcades

The rooms at Hôtel Les Arcades come in several configurations: double rooms, a twin room, a triple room and a family room. All have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and soundproofed walls. Room sizes range from 14 to 23 m². Depending on the category, you can choose a large double bed, two single beds or a configuration with several beds.

The Standard Double Room is on the ground floor, while the Superior Double Room is on the first floor. The triple room adds a single bed to a large double bed; the family room has bunk beds in addition to the large double bed. An electric kettle is provided in the rooms. A desk, safe and free toiletries complete the facilities. Some bathrooms have a bath, while others have a shower or a bath.

Local life remains closely connected to Camargue traditions, horses and the open coastal landscapes. Visitors come for the beaches, walks in the fresh air and birdwatching, in a seaside village atmosphere that changes with the seasons.

Amphora Beach is 150 m away, and Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer Church is about 250 m from the hotel. The Provençal Market, 150 m away, is a chance to discover the region’s produce and flavours. At 4.6 km, Pont de Gau Ornithological Park has marked trails for observing flamingos and other birds in their natural habitat. The village is easy to explore on foot; a car is useful for visiting the ponds, more distant beaches and Camargue roads. Arles makes a possible day trip for its ancient heritage and historic streets.

In spring and autumn, temperatures are often well suited to walks and wildlife watching. Summer brings more holidaymakers to the coast, with long days suited to swimming and cycling trips. A day can start with the market and a walk around the centre, continue with a few hours at the beach, and end with a visit to the ornithological park. In winter, things become quieter and the wide-open spaces of the Camargue are ideal for walks, although it can sometimes be windy.
