Hotel Solara

Hotel Solara offers six room types for a solo traveller, a couple, three guests or a family of four. The Single and Double Rooms have a compact layout, while the Triple Room has one single bed and one double bed. The Quadruple Room is more spacious at 25 m², comprises two rooms and accommodates up to four people. All room types have a private bathroom, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. City views are available from all room types.

Two types stand out for their terrace: the Single Room with Terrace and the Double Room with Terrace. Amenities also include a refrigerator or minibar, depending on the room, as well as toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a dining table; rooms with a terrace also have a balcony. Sleeping arrangements vary according to capacity, with single or double beds.

The shared areas bring together useful services for a city stay. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Luggage storage lets you leave your belongings, while daily housekeeping takes care of the rooms. The property has a terrace, a lift and heating, as well as air conditioning. A wake-up service and express check-in or check-out complete the facilities. The rooms are soundproofed, and the hotel has family rooms.

There is a café on site, and optional continental breakfast can be served in your room. The accommodation includes tea and coffee-making facilities; depending on the room type, you may also find a minibar, a refrigerator or an electric kettle. Hotel Solara is on Rue de France, in the central district linking the shopping streets with the seafront. The city appeals both to swimming enthusiasts and to travellers drawn to museums, architecture and Provençal markets. The mild climate also makes it possible to enjoy terraces and outdoor walks for much of the year.

The coast is one of the area’s landmarks: Ruhl Beach is 230 m away, and the Promenade des Anglais follows the bay, lined with palm trees and Belle Époque façades. Jardin Albert-Ier offers a shaded walk between the centre and the sea. Musée Masséna traces Nice’s history in a 19th-century villa, while the old town invites you to wander through narrow streets to Cours Saleya and its stalls. Nice-Ville railway station is 940 m away; the tram network serves several districts and makes it easier to get around the city. Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is 3.9 km away.

For a first visit, you can spend the morning in Vieux-Nice, have lunch in the district and then follow the seafront in the late afternoon. The climb to Colline du Château rewards you with a view of the bay and rooftops. In summer, the beaches and promenades are very busy; spring and early autumn offer pleasant days for visiting museums and walking around the city. In winter, the markets and streets in the centre remain lively, while sunny days are still suited to outings by the water.
