Hôtel Univers

Hôtel Univers offers five room categories, from the Single Room to the Quadruple Room. Sizes range from 12 to 25 m², and capacity varies from one to four people. All rooms have air conditioning, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Solo travellers can choose a room with a single bed; rooms for two are available in Standard or Superior versions.

The Superior category offers 18 m², compared with 14 m² for the Standard category. The Triple Room sleeps three people, with one double bed and one single bed or three single beds. The Quadruple Room has four single beds and is the largest category, at 25 m². Bathrooms include a shower, toilet and hairdryer. A desk is also among the room amenities. The descriptions of the different categories also mention sloping ceilings and roof windows in the Single Room.

The reception is open 24 hours a day, and luggage storage is available for your belongings. Daily housekeeping is provided, and the hotel offers a wake-up service. The tour desk can help guests organise visits; cycling tours and temporary art galleries are also among the activities and options available. A lift serves the floors, and the areas have heating and air conditioning.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Rooms have a flat-screen TV, some with satellite channels, as well as a private bathroom and hairdryer. This part of the city suits travellers who want to combine sightseeing, swimming and visits to the old town without having to organise every journey by car.

Place Masséna opens onto Jardin Albert Ier and Promenade du Paillon, a landscaped route leading towards Vieux-Nice. In its narrow streets, colourful façades stand alongside markets and churches; Cours Saleya is home to the flower market. Along the sea, Promenade des Anglais runs beside the beaches and Quai des États-Unis. Place Masséna is a two-minute walk away, and Promenade des Anglais is 600 m away. The tram stop is 60 m away; Nice-Ville railway station is 800 m away.

A day can begin in the narrow streets of Vieux-Nice and continue by the water, with a break in Jardin Albert Ier. Musée Matisse and the districts of Cimiez offer another side of the city, shaped by its heritage and gardens. In summer, the seafront attracts more visitors and the beaches are lively; spring and the shoulder season are well suited to walks and visits at a gentler pace. The tram makes it easier to get around Nice, particularly to areas farther from the centre.
