Biovès Gardens offer a leafy walk, and Saint-Michel-Archange Basilica overlooks the rooftops of old Menton. Menton train station is 750 m away and connects the town with other coastal communities. Nice Côte d’Azur is the most convenient international airport, about 40 km away by road. The hotel has no parking.

The mild climate makes it possible to enjoy the seafront for much of the year. In summer, plan to explore the old town and gardens during the cooler hours, then save the beaches for swimming. Spring brings the gardens and walks to life; the Fête du Citron animates Menton in February and March with citrus sculptures and parades. A day can combine the market, a museum visit and a walk towards the harbour, before continuing to Ventimiglia, across the Italian border.
