Bédoin is a Provençal village built on the slopes of Mont Ventoux, in Vaucluse. Its narrow streets and stone façades form a lively village centre, while the landscape changes quickly as you leave the houses behind and head towards the mountain roads. Cyclists come to take on the climb up Ventoux; walkers can choose trails through the hills and forests. The village also suits travellers who prefer to explore the nearby towns and wine estates.

Saint-Pierre Church is 240 m away and offers a glimpse of the village’s architectural heritage. At 270 m, the memorial known as the pyramid bears witness to local history. Mont Ventoux dominates the surrounding area and draws fans of hiking, cycling and expansive views. Crillon-le-Brave, 3.0 km away, is a hilltop village whose narrow streets offer views across the Comtat Venaissin. Carpentras railway station, 13 km away, provides rail access; a car is useful for exploring the villages and natural sites scattered across the region.

In spring and autumn, temperatures are well suited to cycling and walks, while summer brings more pronounced Provençal heat. For an active day, you can spend the morning hiking or cycling up Ventoux, then return to Bédoin to explore the village and its surroundings.
