La maison Gerval

La maison Gerval offers four double rooms, each designed for two people. They have air conditioning, a terrace and a private bathroom. Depending on the room, you can enjoy views of the garden, town, mountain or an inner courtyard. Two rooms in the categories offered have garden views.

Room sizes range from 16 to 32 m². Beds can be arranged as either two single beds or one extra-large double bed. The rooms have a fridge, and several also have an electric kettle. Some shower rooms have a shower and washbasin in the room, with a private toilet just next door. In some rooms, the upper floors are accessible by stairs only.

The outdoor swimming pool and garden are La maison Gerval’s main spaces for relaxation. A sun terrace, another terrace and an outdoor dining area let you enjoy the Provençal air. Sun loungers, parasols and pool or beach towels are also provided. The garden is arranged for enjoying the outdoor spaces.

Free Wi-Fi offers a speed of 20 Mb/s, suitable for HD streaming and video calls. Breakfast is served on site. The rooms are air-conditioned, and a fridge and electric kettle are available. Public parking is nearby and may be chargeable. Street parking and parking for guests with reduced mobility are also available. The house has laundry facilities, a smoking area and heating. It is for adults only.

Cyclists know the village as one of the starting points for climbing Ventoux; walkers can also find trails in the surrounding hills and forests. The village suits travellers looking to combine a stay in Provence with sporting activities or visits to small towns.

Saint-Pierre Church and the streets in the centre offer a glimpse of the local heritage. In Crillon-le-Brave, the château and the village’s narrow streets make a good stop to discover the region’s stone architecture. The landscapes of Ventoux are well suited to hiking, cycling and drives to nearby towns. Carpentras railway station is 13 km away; from there, you can reach Bédoin by car or local transport. Marseille-Provence Airport is 75 km away. Public parking is available near the house, and may incur an additional charge.

Spring and autumn are pleasant seasons for walking or cycling along the roads, while summer attracts more visitors and cyclists to the slopes of Ventoux. You can start the day with a walk in Bédoin, continue with an outing to the mountain scenery, then finish in the village. The local wine estates offer another way to discover the Provençal region; the grape harvest usually brings activity to the area in September and October. For excursions, bring suitable footwear and water, especially in summer.
