La petite Toscane de Marseille

The entire house has two bedrooms and accommodates up to five people across 130 m². This layout suits families or small groups who want to share one accommodation while having separate bedrooms. The house has a bathroom, a dining area and a private kitchen, as well as a terrace that extends the living spaces outdoors.

The kitchen includes a fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and kitchenware; a coffee machine and kettle are also provided. A washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and high chair complete the facilities. Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, bed linen and towels are also available. The three beds comprise one large double bed, one single bed and one double bed. This house therefore offers practical spaces for a shared stay in Marseille.

The private kitchen is one of the main spaces in the house. It has a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and kitchenware for preparing meals. A coffee machine, kettle and toaster complete the facilities, while the dining table lets you eat in. The terrace, furnished with outdoor furniture, offers another place to relax.

The house also has a flat-screen TV with cable channels, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi throughout the accommodation. A washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing equipment and high chair are provided. Bed linen and towels are supplied; the bathroom has a bath or shower, toilet and hairdryer. Pets are allowed on request at no extra charge. There is no parking on site; several metro stations and Saint-Charles train station serve the area.

Marseille spreads out around a lively Mediterranean port, amid popular neighbourhoods, shopping streets and major cultural institutions. The house is in the 4th arrondissement, near Chartreux and Longchamp, in a residential area linked to the centre by metro. Palais Longchamp gives this part of the city its character: its monumental architecture houses the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum. The neighbourhood makes it easy to alternate cultural visits, walks in the gardens and explorations of the city centre.

The Museum of Fine Arts is around 600 m away, and Palais Longchamp is 750 m away. Chartreux metro station is 500 m away; Cinq Avenues Longchamp is another option for getting to different parts of Marseille. Saint-Charles train station, served by regional and high-speed trains, is around 1.4 km away. Further south, the Old Port and MuCEM offer a walk between the waterfront, collections devoted to Mediterranean civilisations and the area around Fort Saint-Jean. Marseille-Provence Airport is 23 km from the house.

For your first day, you could start at Palais Longchamp and its museums, then take the metro to the Old Port and explore the quays on foot. MuCEM and Fort Saint-Jean are worth a longer visit, while the coastal beaches offer another way to experience the city on fine days. Marseille is a year-round destination: spring and autumn are pleasant for walking, while summer invites you to spend more time by the sea. The mistral can make some days cooler, even in the sunshine.
