Le Maset en Camargue

Le Maset en Camargue offers four double room categories, each designed for two people. They have a private bathroom, air conditioning and an outdoor space in the form of a terrace, balcony or patio. Classic décor and tiled floors create a simple setting. Room sizes range from 16 to 18 m².

Some rooms overlook the garden. The Double Room with Lake View overlooks the pond and village, while the Double Room with Pool View overlooks the pool. The Superior Double Room has a bath or shower and can be set up with one large double bed or, subject to availability and by contacting the hotel directly, two single beds. The other rooms are also available with one large double bed; the room with pool views has a shared terrace. Every room includes a flat-screen TV and a desk.

Le Maset en Camargue offers free private parking on site without prior reservation, as well as an electric vehicle charging point. Spaces accessible to guests with reduced mobility are also available. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the hotel. Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer lies at the southern end of the Camargue, between the Rhône delta and the Mediterranean. This seaside village is known for its fortified church, traditions and open landscapes of marshes, ponds and beaches. Visitors come to alternate swimming with walks on foot or by bike and discover a natural environment shaped by water. The pace changes with the seasons: summer brings visitors to the coast, while quieter periods are well suited to walks in the natural areas.

From the village, Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer Church rises above the houses and streets of the centre; the Musée des Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer presents local history and traditions. The bullring hosts events associated with Camargue culture. The Provençal market is a chance to discover local produce and specialities. To see flamingos and other birds in the marshes, the Pont de Gau Ornithological Park is 4.1 km away. Plage des Arènes is 830 m away, and several other stretches of sand line the coast.

A car makes it easier to explore the more distant landscapes of the delta, although you can get around the centre and nearby beaches on foot. In spring and autumn, temperatures are often pleasant for exploring trails and wetlands; in summer, it is best to plan outings for early morning or late afternoon. You can spend a day visiting the village, swimming and watching birds, with a stop at the market depending on the day you visit.
