Le Petit Terminus

Le Petit Terminus is offered as an entire 65 m² holiday home with two bedrooms and a maximum capacity of four people. Each bedroom has a large double bed; both are air-conditioned, making the house suitable for couples or family members who want to share accommodation while having separate spaces to rest. The house has a private bathroom with a shower.

The living area combines a lounge and dining area and opens onto a furnished terrace. The fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare meals on site and includes an oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. A washing machine, a flat-screen TV and a private entrance complete the amenities. This is one whole house, not a choice of different room categories.

This neighbourhood combines through streets, shady squares and historic buildings; it suits visitors who want to explore the city on foot and reach their accommodation by train. The main roads through the centre lead to the monuments, while walks along the Rhône offer another view of the city.

Avignon-Centre station is 240 m away and makes it easy to get around the city without a car. The Palais des Papes, a vast Gothic complex that was the popes’ residence in the 14th century, is 1.1 km away. The Pont Saint-Bénézet, made famous by the song, stretches across the Rhône and can be visited along a route devoted to its history; it is 1.3 km away. Art lovers can visit the Collection Lambert, housed in two 18th-century townhouses, 510 m away. Avignon TGV station is 2.6 km away.

The centre is best explored at a relaxed pace, with visits to monuments and museums interspersed with breaks in the gardens. In July, the Festival d’Avignon brings performances and shows to venues around the city; it is best to plan your visits and travel with larger crowds in mind. In spring and autumn, the days are well suited to walks through the historic neighbourhoods and excursions around Vaucluse.
