Le Régence

Le Régence offers seven categories, from the Single Room to double, twin and triple rooms. Sizes range from 10 to 24 m²; maximum occupancy varies by category. The rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and soundproofing. They overlook the city, while the Superior Double Room also offers a view of the Rhône.

The room configurations differ: one double bed, two single beds, or a combination of one single bed and one double bed in the Triple Room. The Superior Double Room stands out for its 24 m² of space and river view. The Single Room, measuring 10 m², is intended for one person. A desk is among the in-room amenities. The upper floors are accessible by stairs only.

Le Régence provides daily housekeeping and luggage storage. The concierge can assist you during your stay, while express check-in and check-out make arrival and departure formalities easier. A wake-up service is also available, and you can request an invoice. A vending machine in the hotel sells drinks.

Air conditioning and heating are provided, and soundproofing helps keep the spaces quiet. The rooms have carpeted floors, and some are soundproofed. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Parking spaces are available on the street; nearby public parking may incur a surcharge. The hotel serves continental breakfast. All areas are non-smoking. The building has no lift, and the upper floors are accessible by stairs only.

The Réattu Museum, housed in the former grand priory of the Order of Malta, contains art collections and works connected with the city. The Rhône accompanies walks along the quays, while the streets of the centre lead to churches, courtyards and ancient remains. Arles railway station is within walking distance of the district; the bus station is also in the area. To explore the Camargue, its marshes, ponds and landscapes dotted with livestock, a car or organised excursion is useful.

Spring and autumn bring pleasant temperatures for visiting the monuments and walking along the river. In summer, Provençal light illuminates the façades and evenings linger in the squares, but the heat makes it worth planning outdoor visits for early morning. You can combine Roman remains, a break in the old town and an outing to the Camargue’s natural landscapes in a single day.
