Le Rhul

Le Rhul offers three double rooms for two guests, all with a private bathroom, air conditioning, a minibar and a TV. They range from 13 to 15 m². The Superior and Privilege rooms both overlook the sea, while the Standard room faces a quiet street. The bathrooms have a shower or a bath and a hairdryer. Each room also includes a desk and a safe.

The Privilege Double Room with Terrace has a private terrace with a sea view, an outdoor space not found in the other two rooms. The Superior Double Room also has a sea view and measures 13 m². The Standard Double Room measures 14 m² and has a bath. All three rooms are on the upper floors, accessible only by stairs. Free toiletries are provided in every bathroom.

Le Rhul’s restaurant serves local specialities at lunch and dinner. You can also choose to have breakfast in your room, order wine or champagne, or ask for a children’s menu. Menus for special diets are available on request. The rooms include a minibar, and room service is available for meals and everyday needs.

The reception is open 24 hours a day. Staff provide concierge service, luggage storage and daily housekeeping; a wake-up service is also available. The outdoor areas include furniture and a sun terrace, and the beach is accessible from the hotel. Wi-Fi is free in the shared areas. The rooms have a private bathroom, free toiletries and a hairdryer. The upper floors are accessible only by stairs.

The Corniche runs along the coast of Marseille’s 7th arrondissement, between the Old Port and the southern beaches. Here, the city opens out onto the Mediterranean: the road follows the rocks and small coves, while gardens and villas dot the slopes. The neighbourhood suits travellers who want to alternate seaside walks with city sightseeing without giving up coastal scenery. Fausse Monnaie Beach is 50 m from the hotel.

Parc Valmer has tree-lined paths and views of the coast. Musée Subaquatique de Marseille displays submerged artworks that can be seen from the sea, while Catalans Beach is a place to enjoy the coast in the city. Palais du Pharo, with its park and views over the port, is 1.6 km away. The Old Port and Mucem offer access to historic neighbourhoods and collections devoted to the civilisations of the Mediterranean. Saint-Charles railway station is 3.3 km away; Marseille-Provence Airport is 18 km away. Metro stations in the city centre make it easy to reach other neighbourhoods, although getting around the Corniche is easier by car or on foot, depending on your destination.

Marseille can be visited all year round, with particularly pleasant days in spring and autumn for walking along the coast. In summer, the beaches are busier, and the heat makes it preferable to walk in the morning or late afternoon. The mistral can make the air feel cooler, even in sunshine. For a varied day out, follow the Corniche, stop at a beach, then head to the Old Port and the waterfront museums. The paths and calanques south of the city also offer opportunities for outdoor excursions, which should be planned according to current conditions.
