Les Suites Massena

Les Suites Massena has four suites ranging from 30 to 40 m², all air-conditioned and equipped with a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a coffee machine. Each accommodates two people and has a large double bed. All four suites are soundproofed.

The 30 m² Comfort Suite overlooks an inner courtyard. At 40 m², the Deluxe Suite is the largest; it offers city views and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The 35 m² Superior Suite with City View may overlook the patio or Place Masséna. The other Superior Suite, also 35 m², overlooks the inner courtyard and has a bath and shower. The suites are on the second and third floors, accessible only by stairs.

Les Suites Massena provides free Wi-Fi in the rooms, as well as air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Luggage storage makes it easy to leave your belongings, while room service lets you enjoy the facilities without leaving your suite. Daily housekeeping and laundry facilities add to the practical services.

Coffee is available on site, and the suites have a coffee machine and a minibar. Continental breakfast can be served from 08:00 for an additional charge; wine and champagne are also available. Reception is closed between midnight and 07:00. Check-in is from 14:00 to 20:00; if your journey means you will arrive outside these hours, you must notify the property in advance. The suites are on the second and third floors, accessible only by stairs.

Place Masséna marks the meeting point between central Nice’s shopping district and the neighbourhoods leading down towards the Mediterranean. Around this broad square, warm-toned façades, arcades and tram lines create a lively urban scene. The area suits travellers who want to alternate walks, breaks by the water and discoveries of Nice’s heritage. Albert I Garden and the Promenade du Paillon provide green spaces between the city-centre streets and the seafront.

You can explore Vieux-Nice on foot: its narrow lanes, colourful façades and churches sit alongside the stalls of the Cours Saleya Market. Sainte-Réparate Cathedral and Lascaris Palace bear witness to the city’s history. Follow Quai des États-Unis to reach the beaches and the Promenade des Anglais, which runs along the Baie des Anges. Castle Hill offers views over the rooftops, port and shoreline. Nice-Ville railway station connects the city with destinations across the region; the tram also serves several neighbourhoods and areas near the coast.

Nice is a year-round destination, with often sunny days outside the high season and a livelier atmosphere in summer. For a day of exploring, start at the Cours Saleya Market, continue through the lanes of Vieux-Nice, then take time to walk along the sea in the late afternoon. Museums, squares and gardens also make it easy to plan a pleasant route when the weather invites you to stay in town. Spring and autumn generally offer good conditions for walks, while summer is ideal for swimming and evenings by the seafront.
