Liberte 2

Liberte 2 offers two 25 m² double rooms, each for two people and equipped with a private bathroom. Both rooms have a large double bed, a shower, a toilet, towels, bed linen and an electric kettle. A dining table and tiled or marble flooring are also provided in the rooms.

The Double Room with Private Bathroom stands out for its step-free access, while the Double Room is accessible only by stairs. The latter has a walk-in shower. Both rooms also include toilet paper, an iron and heating. They have the same capacity and floor area, so the choice mainly depends on access and the shower layout.

Liberte 2 provides free internet access, advertised at 28 Mb/s and suitable for HD streaming and video calls. Family rooms and non-smoking rooms cater to different needs. Breakfast is available on site. Rooms include a private bathroom, a shower, a toilet, towels, bed linen and toilet paper.

Amenities also include an electric kettle and a dining table. Flooring is tiled or marble, and heating and an iron are provided. Pets are allowed at no extra charge. There is no parking at the property. These amenities come with a location well served by public transport: Marseille-Saint-Charles railway station and Réformés-Canebière metro station are in the district, while other city attractions can be reached by metro or on foot.

The Saint-Charles district is in central Marseille, around the main railway station connecting the city with the rest of France. Its urban streets combine apartment buildings, squares and local shops; the station’s monumental staircase opens onto La Canebière and the central thoroughfares. It is a practical area for exploring the city on foot or by public transport, with a lively atmosphere around the daily comings and goings.

Marseille-Saint-Charles railway station is 300 m away and Réformés-Canebière metro station is 200 m away. Palais Longchamp, with its monumental architecture, gardens and museums, is 750 m away. Further on, the Old Port brings together quays, boats and departures for the islands. The MuCEM and Fort Saint-Jean offer a glimpse into Marseille’s Mediterranean history in a cultural complex by the water. For a day by the sea, Catalans and Prophète beaches are accessible from the centre.

Marseille can be visited all year round: cooler months suit museum visits, walks along the quays and trips to old neighbourhoods, while summer days invite you to plan an outing to the sea or the calanques. In summer, the heat can make outdoor visits more pleasant in the morning and late afternoon. From Saint-Charles, you can plan a metro itinerary, set aside time for the Old Port and continue towards Le Panier or the MuCEM. The ferry terminal also makes a boat trip an option, depending on available services.
