LOU CIGALOU

LOU CIGALOU is an entire 80 m² home with three bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. It can accommodate up to six people. Sleeping arrangements include a large double bed, a double bed, bunk beds and a sofa bed in the living area. There are two bathrooms, with a bath and a shower.

The living spaces open onto a balcony and a terrace, with views of the sea, garden, town and surrounding area. The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals, with a dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave and coffee machine among its amenities. Air conditioning, a washing machine and a flat-screen TV complete the facilities in this family home. Bed linen and towels are available for an additional charge.

LOU CIGALOU has free Wi-Fi throughout and free private indoor parking. The terrace, balcony and outdoor furniture provide several places to enjoy a meal or the sea air. An outdoor dining area and a sun terrace complete the outdoor facilities.

There is also a children's playground and socket covers. Bicycle hire is available on site. An airport shuttle runs in both directions; this service is paid. The upper floors are accessible by stairs only.

Cassis is a Provençal port between the Mediterranean and the limestone landscapes of Calanques National Park. The village combines a lively seafront, narrow streets to explore on foot and beaches within walking distance of the centre. The light, boats in the port and warm-coloured façades create a setting for a seaside stay. Visitors come to swim, walk along the coast and take boat trips or explore the paths.

Grande Mer Beach is 460 m away and offers swimming close to the village. Château de Cassis, 580 m away, overlooks the port and is a landmark in the historic landscape. Calanques National Park stretches along the coast; Calanque de Port-Miou, 1.8 km away, is a well-known starting point for walks between cliffs and turquoise water. Cassis railway station is 2.7 km away, while Marseille-Provence Airport is 33 km away. A car makes it easier to get to the calanques and neighbouring towns.

Summer days are ideal for swimming and outings at sea, but the beaches and paths are very busy then. Spring and the late season often bring pleasant temperatures for walking along the coast and exploring the village at a quieter pace. A day might include a morning walk around the port, lunch in the centre and an excursion to the calanques. If you plan to explore the paths, bring suitable shoes and water, especially in hot weather.
