MAS DES 2 PLATANES

The three rooms accommodate two people and each measure 22 m². They all have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a terrace with views of the garden and pool. The ground-floor layout makes the rooms easier to access, while the pool with a view is a shared feature. The essential amenities are similar, with the beds and room names distinguishing each category.

The King Room with Pool View has a large double bed. The Double or Twin Room with Pool View lets you choose between two double beds and a large double bed, depending on the configuration booked. The Double Room with Pool View has one double bed. Bathrooms have a shower or bath, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Towels and bed linen are provided. The private terraces extend each room towards views of the outdoor areas.

The outdoor areas centre on a pool and garden, with a sun terrace, garden furniture and sun loungers. Pool or beach towels are available. Indoors, the rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom; Wi-Fi is free in the rooms. Free private parking is available on site. A shared kitchen and electric kettle let you prepare a drink, while coffee is available on site. Fruit, wine and champagne are also offered.

You can choose from body, hand, head, foot, neck or back massages. Activities include walking or cycling, horse riding and hiking. The rooms are on the ground floor, and there is also a private entrance. The guest house has an outdoor fireplace, a terrace and a garden for enjoying the shared areas. Breakfast is served on site.

Arles lies on the Rhône plain, at the gateway to the Camargue, with an old town characterised by Roman monuments and Provençal lanes. The Villevieille area, where MAS DES 2 PLATANES is located, is more open than the streets of the centre. A car is useful for reaching the different neighbourhoods, heritage sites and natural landscapes around the city.

The Arles Amphitheatre, a Roman amphitheatre still used for performances, is 3.8 km away. The Alyscamps necropolis, known for its avenue lined with sarcophagi and its ancient history, is 3.1 km away. Parc des Ateliers brings together contemporary cultural venues on a former industrial site. Arles railway station, 4.3 km away, connects the city to the regional rail network. For an outdoor outing, the Beauchamp and Petit Clar marshes are a natural area to explore on foot. Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes Airport is 22 km away.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for exploring on foot, when temperatures are generally milder than in midsummer. In July, the Rencontres de la photographie brings the city to life with exhibitions at various venues; it is a pleasant time to alternate heritage visits with breaks in the shade. You could start the day with the Roman remains, continue at the exhibition spaces in Parc des Ateliers and finish with an excursion to the landscapes of the Camargue. In summer, plan outdoor visits for the morning or late afternoon, as the Provençal sun is strong.
