Mas des Olives

Le Mas des Olives offers four types of accommodation with different layouts: a studio with mountain views, two apartments and a Deluxe Room. All have a private bathroom; terraces and garden views are recurring features. The units with kitchens suit guests who would like to prepare their own meals, with amenities including a fridge and dishwasher. A coffee machine is also provided in the studio and apartments.

The accommodation ranges from 30 m² for the Deluxe Room to 82 m² for the Duplex Apartment. The latter has two bedrooms, a living room and two bathrooms, while the 55 m² apartment has one bedroom and a living room. The 37 m² studio can be set up with one large double bed or two single beds. The Deluxe Room, for two people, has a terrace overlooking the garden and can also be set up with one large double bed or two single beds.

Le Mas des Olives has a garden, a sun terrace and outdoor furniture for enjoying the scenery. The outdoor swimming pool is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and pool or beach towels; it is heated and filled with saltwater. Yoga classes and massages are also available for relaxation. Guests can also take part in cooking classes, cycling tours or walking tours.

A bar serves wine and champagne, among other drinks. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and free private parking is available on site. The accommodation has a private bathroom, and some units have a kitchen. Pets are allowed, possibly for an additional charge. A shuttle service is also among the services offered. Check-in is between 15:00 and 18:00; guests are asked to communicate their expected arrival time in advance. Check-out is by 11:00 at the latest.

Bédoin is a Provençal village at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the Vaucluse department. Its streets and stone houses make up a lively village shaped by outdoor activities and the agricultural seasons. The outline of Mont Ventoux dominates the surroundings; the roads climbing towards the summit attract cyclists, while the trails appeal to walkers. The surrounding area alternates between mountain scenery, hilltop villages and vineyards.

Bédoin centre is 3.2 km away, with its narrow streets and old houses. Mont Ventoux offers hiking and cycling routes, with views stretching across Provence on clear days. Les Demoiselles Coiffées, rock formations sculpted by erosion, are 1.2 km away. In Crillon-le-Brave, the village’s narrow streets and château bear witness to local heritage. Carpentras railway station, 16 km away, serves the area; a car is useful for exploring the villages and vineyards. Marseille-Provence and Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes airports are 74 and 75 km away respectively.

In spring and autumn, temperatures are often suitable for walks and cycling, while summer brings more heat and busier roads on Mont Ventoux. For a varied day, you can explore Bédoin in the morning, then take a trail or visit a vineyard in the afternoon. The Provençal markets and nearby villages are also good places for quieter stops. In summer, plan sporting activities early in the day, when the air is cooler on the slopes.
