Accommodation includes single rooms and rooms for two to six people, as well as beds in a mixed dormitory. The Single, Standard Twin and Family Rooms offer city views and have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a seating area and soundproofed walls. Several categories have a private bathroom. The private rooms listed here range in size from 17 to 30 m².

Capacity and bed arrangements vary by room type. The Standard Twin Rooms are for two people, while the Triple and Quadruple Rooms have several beds. Family Rooms accommodate up to five or six people, with single and bunk beds. Dormitory beds are individual places in a shared room, in a mixed dormitory with four or six beds. Bed linen is provided.

The reception is open 24 hours a day and can direct you to the tour desk. You’ll also find luggage storage, a shared lounge with a TV, a games room and an indoor play area. Laundry and ironing services are available. Guests with reduced mobility can use dedicated facilities, including adapted access, toilets with grab rails and a lowered sink.

For refreshments, an on-site café, a bar and a snack bar serve drinks and light meals; a buffet with options for children is also available. Menus for special diets can be requested. The shared areas have free Wi-Fi. Pets are allowed, possibly for an additional charge, and pet bowls are provided. Private indoor parking is available by reservation, at a rate of €22 per day.

Marseille brings together port neighbourhoods, shopping streets and traces of a long Mediterranean history. La Joliette, north of the old town, combines the former docks, port facilities and recent developments. It’s a convenient area for moving from a cultural visit to the quays, while discovering a different side of the city from the Old Port. The surrounding streets remain lively, with markets and neighbourhood meeting places.

Joliette Metro Station makes it easy to travel to the centre and the Old Port. Les Terrasses du Port brings together shops and open spaces overlooking the harbour. Head to Le Panier to explore its sloping lanes and visit La Vieille Charité, a former hospice that is now a cultural and museum centre. The MuCEM explores the civilisations of the Mediterranean, while Fort Saint-Jean offers a walk among military architecture and views over the harbour entrance. Marseille-Saint-Charles railway station is 800 m away; Catalans Beach is 2 km away.

For a first visit, spend a morning in Le Panier and at La Vieille Charité, then cross over to the MuCEM and Fort Saint-Jean. The Old Port and its quays are a good way to extend your walk at the end of the day. Marseille can be visited all year round: spring and autumn are pleasant seasons for walking through the neighbourhoods and visiting museums, while summer invites you to spend more time on the coast. In very hot weather, plan outdoor walks for early morning or late afternoon. The metro and public transport are useful for reaching more distant areas without crossing the whole city on foot.
