Pervenche

Pervenche offers five rooms with a range of layouts, from a single room for one person to a family room for up to four guests. They measure between 10 and 27 m² and all have air conditioning, a private bathroom and a garden view. Bed linen and towels are provided. The rooms suit solo travellers, couples and families.

The beds include a single bed, a sofa bed, a double bed or, in the family room, two single beds and a large double bed. At 27 m², the family room is also equipped with interconnecting rooms. One 14 m² double room has a flat-screen TV. The other rooms measure 10, 12 or 14 m² and accommodate one or two people. All overlook the garden and have a private bathroom.

Outdoor spaces are an important feature at Pervenche. The garden and terrace let you enjoy the fresh air, while the sun terrace provides another place to relax. An outdoor swimming pool completes the facilities and offers a chance to unwind on site. Outdoor furniture is provided for time spent in the garden or on the terrace.

Free parking is available, and the property also has family rooms and non-smoking rooms. Air conditioning is among the general amenities. Breakfast is one of the services on offer. Travellers who want to play golf will find a course less than 3 km away. Daily housekeeping completes the services. Saint-Menet is in eastern Marseille, in a residential area where urban districts meet green spaces and the first slopes of the Calanques massif. The atmosphere is different from that of the Old Port: the streets are less geared towards visitors passing through, and daily life in Marseille revolves around neighbourhoods away from the seafront. This part of the city may suit travellers who want to alternate urban visits with outings in nature.

Calanques National Park is 900 m away and offers walking routes through the limestone landscapes typical of the Marseille coastline. Château de la Buzine, 1.3 km away, houses the Maison des cinématographies de la Méditerranée, which is devoted to cinema and the work of Marcel Pagnol. La Penne-sur-Huveaune train station, 500 m away, provides access to the regional rail network. To explore the centre, the Old Port and the historic Le Panier district offer another side of Marseille, with its harbour, narrow streets and heritage sites.

The city is worth visiting all year round. Spring days and the late season are well suited to walks, while in summer it is best to plan outdoor activities for the cooler parts of the day. You could start with a walk around Saint-Menet, continue with a visit to Château de la Buzine, then finish in the centre around the Old Port. If you are exploring the Calanques, bring suitable shoes and water, especially in hot weather. Marseille-Provence Airport is 27 km away.
