Thalacap Camargue

Each of the three room categories at Thalacap Camargue accommodates two people and measures 25 m². The rooms have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a bath and a flat-screen TV. They also include a coffee machine, a safe and free toiletries. The main differences between the categories are their outdoor access and orientation.

The Standard Double Room is on the ground floor and has a terrace with garden views. The other two categories have a balcony: one is called the Superior Double Room with Balcony - Sea Side, while the Double Room with Balcony - Sea View also has a balcony. Both rooms have a bath and a coffee machine. The Standard category offers a choice of two single beds or one double bed; the other two have a double bed. The rooms therefore suit couples as well as travellers who prefer separate beds.

The outdoor areas include a sun terrace, a terrace and a garden, with direct beach access. You can choose from several outdoor activities, including walking tours, horse riding, cycling, hiking, canoeing and fishing. Luggage storage and a 24-hour reception are also available. For getting around, the hotel offers a shuttle service and an airport shuttle.

The restaurant, bar, snack bar and on-site café offer several dining options. Services include children's menus, special diet menus on request, and wine and champagne. The wellness area brings together a spa, sauna, hammam, hot tub and massage services. You can also enjoy facial and body treatments, beauty services, fitness and yoga classes, as well as a spa and relaxation area. An indoor pool completes the facilities, along with changing rooms for the gym and spa.

Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer is a Camargue village facing the Mediterranean, surrounded by beaches, lagoons and wide-open landscapes. Local life revolves around the harbour, the bullring and Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer Church, a pilgrimage site associated with Camargue traditions. The atmosphere combines the pace of a small seaside resort with the wild landscapes of the delta; the village suits both beach stays and trips focused on nature and regional traditions.

Amphora Beach is 50 m from Thalacap Camargue. Walking through the village streets takes you to Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer Church and then to the bullring, where Camargue races are part of the local culture. The Musée des Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer presents the area's history and traditions. For birdwatching, Pont de Gau Ornithological Park offers a chance to discover the wetlands and their wildlife, including flamingos. Arles makes a good day trip for exploring its Roman monuments and historic centre.

Spring and autumn appeal to travellers who want to explore the trails and watch birds in milder weather. In summer, the days are suited to swimming and outdoor activities, with more visitors and sometimes intense heat. A car makes it easier to travel between the village, beaches and natural sites of the Camargue; in the centre, walking lets you reach the main sights. The wind can also be part of a stay on this exposed coast.
