Vila De La Mar & Spa

Vila De La Mar & Spa offers six room types, from the Classic Double Room with Terrace to the Family Room with Patio, as well as a Junior Suite. All have air conditioning, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and an outdoor space in the form of a terrace or patio. A coffee machine is also provided in every room.

Rooms range from 20 to 35 m². The Classic Double Room has space for two guests, while the Junior Suite is the largest and includes a lounge and a large terrace. Some rooms overlook the town or pool; the Superior Double Room with Terrace has a bathtub. The Family Room has a balcony and can accommodate up to four guests, with different bed configurations. The Superior Triple Room has a large double bed and a single bed.

Vila De La Mar & Spa brings together a heated outdoor swimming pool, a spa and a restaurant with a bar. The wellness area includes a hammam, a sauna and a hot tub; massages and various body treatments are also available. A fitness centre and relaxation area complete the wellness facilities. The pool has sun loungers and a cover.

The restaurant serves children's menus and menus for specific dietary requirements on request. The buffet breakfast can be served in your room, and there is also a café on site. For meals, a snack bar, fruit, and wine or champagne are among the available options. Family rooms, childcare and baby safety gates cater to families. Guests looking for activities can choose from bicycle rental, walking tours, horse riding, cycling and canoeing. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.

Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer is a coastal village in the Camargue, between lagoons, marshes and the Mediterranean. Its centre has narrow streets, squares and pale façades surrounding the fortified Church of Notre-Dame-de-la-Mer, while sandy beaches line the seafront. The village suits travellers who want to combine swimming, walks and exploring the landscapes of the Rhône delta. The pace changes with the seasons: summer brings more visitors, while spring and the shoulder season are well suited to outings in the natural areas.

The beach is 250 m from the hotel. In the village, the Arènes des Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer host bull-related events and reflect local traditions. The Musée des Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer explores the history and culture of the region. Further away, the Parc Ornithologique de Pont de Gau has marked trails for observing marsh birds, including pink flamingos. Arles railway station, 36 km away, provides a useful rail connection; a car makes it easier to travel between the beaches, villages and natural areas of the Camargue.

For a varied day, start with a walk around the village and a swim by the coast, then spend the afternoon on the trails of the bird park. Horse rides, cycling and boat trips are also ways to discover the Camargue landscape at a different pace. In spring and autumn, temperatures are often milder for walking and wildlife watching; in summer, plan outdoor activities for early morning or late afternoon. The natural areas and wide-open horizons give this part of the coast a different feel from more urbanised seaside resorts.
