Villa Eden

Villa Eden offers seven room categories for solo travellers, couples and families. Double and triple rooms are available with a garden or sea view; the family categories offer more space and can accommodate up to four people. The single room, for one person, overlooks the city. Room sizes range from 10 to 25 m². The double, triple and family rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Bed configurations vary by category, with double beds and, in the triple and family rooms, additional single beds.

The family rooms also stand out for their private balcony, with a view of the garden or the sea. The sea-view categories overlook the Nice coastline, while the garden-side rooms open onto the hotel grounds. The single room has shared toilets; it includes a shower or a bath, a desk and a safe.

Villa Eden’s outdoor areas include a garden and a sun terrace, where you can take a break between outings along the seafront. A shared lounge with a TV adds to the communal spaces. The hotel also has a designated smoking area, while the rooms are non-smoking. Air conditioning, heating and parquet flooring are among the general amenities.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and also include a desk, a wardrobe or clothes rack, and free toiletries. Private parking is available on site by reservation, at a rate of €15 per day. Reception welcomes guests from 08:00 to 22:00. For arrivals after 22:00, access codes can be obtained by contacting the hotel during opening hours. Private or express check-in and check-out are available.

The Promenade des Anglais runs along the Baie des Anges on Nice’s seafront. This area combines pebble beaches, urban façades and busy traffic; it suits travellers who want to alternate between swimming, walks by the water and city visits. The Baumettes district has a more residential feel set back from the seafront, with museums, gardens and streets rising towards the hills.

Magnan Beach is opposite the hotel, and several other beaches stretch along the coast. The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nice, housed in a 19th-century villa, offers collections of paintings and sculptures 350 m away. Place Masséna, with its colourful façades and arcades, is 2 km away; from there, the Promenade du Paillon leads towards Vieux-Nice and its narrow streets, markets and churches. Nice-Ville train station is 2.2 km away. The Magnan bus stop, opposite the hotel, serves the centre and the airport; private parking by reservation may suit travellers arriving by car.

Nice can be visited all year round: spring and autumn are pleasant for walking around the city and along the coast, while summer is better suited to beach days, with more visitors on the seafront. You can spend a morning exploring the collections at the Musée des Beaux-Arts, then walk along the sea to the gardens in the centre. Another day could be devoted to the narrow streets of Vieux-Nice, Place Masséna and the viewpoints on Castle Hill. The seafront is still accessible for a walk even when swimming is not on the agenda.
