VILLA Isle sur la Sorgue

The two villas at VILLA Isle sur la Sorgue are 90 m² each and can accommodate six guests apiece. They have two bedrooms, two private bathrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace. Each unit also has a private pool, air conditioning, a washing machine and a flat-screen TV. These separate spaces, together with a shared living room and kitchen, suit families or small groups who want to spend their stay together while keeping separate bedrooms.

Each villa has three sleeping spaces. One has a large double bed, a double bed and a sofa bed; the other is furnished with two large double beds and a sofa bed. Both offer the same main facilities: a private pool, terrace, kitchen, air conditioning, washing machine and flat-screen TV. Two private bathrooms complete the layout, with two bedrooms in each villa.

Facilities include a private outdoor swimming pool and a garden, with a terrace where you can enjoy the outdoor space. Sun loungers or beach chairs let you settle in by the water, and pool or beach towels are available. The villas have air conditioning; the rooms are non-smoking. Free private parking is available on site, with no need to reserve in advance.

Each unit has a kitchen, a private bathroom and a washing machine. A flat-screen TV completes the indoor facilities. Pets are allowed on request, and a supplement may apply. Internet access is not available at the property. The facilities are therefore suited to independent stays: you can prepare meals in the kitchen, use the washing machine and enjoy the terrace or pool. The garden and outdoor areas complete the villas’ facilities.

L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a Provençal town in the Vaucluse, crossed by the Sorgue. Its canals, waterwheels and old streets give it a distinctive character shaped by water. You can explore the centre on foot, among squares, quays and antique shops. Markets and antique dealers are part of local life; the town particularly attracts those interested in interior design and antiques. The villa is in a residential area, away from the busiest streets but still close to the centre.

La Filaventure, a museum devoted to the history and craftsmanship of Brun de Vian-Tiran wool, is 1.0 km away. L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue–Fontaine-de-Vaucluse railway station is 1.1 km away and connects the town to the regional rail network. In the historic centre, you can walk along the canals and spot the waterwheels still visible in the streets. Nearby Velleron offers another stop in the Vaucluse countryside. Avignon, 22 km away, offers a visit to the Palace of the Popes and its medieval centre; the Grottes de Thouzon make for a nature outing near the town.

Spring and autumn are pleasant seasons for exploring markets, villages and roads lined with orchards. In summer, the private pool offers a break after sightseeing, while hot days invite you to plan outings for early morning or late afternoon. A day can begin with a walk along the Sorgue, continue in the old centre and end on the terrace. With a car, the villages of the Luberon and the landscapes of the Vaucluse are suitable for excursions; the railway station also makes it easy to travel to Avignon.
