Villa llolan

Villa llolan is rented as a whole and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with a sofa bed. The house covers 140 m² and accommodates up to seven people. Each of the three bedrooms has a double bed; a sofa bed provides extra sleeping space in the living room.

The fitted kitchen lets you prepare meals on site, with an oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The living room also has a fireplace and a flat-screen TV. Air conditioning, a private entrance and views of the garden and pool are among the features of the house. Outside, a terrace, dining area, garden furniture and barbecue extend the living space. The villa has two bathrooms; towels and bed linen are provided.

The private pool and garden extend the living spaces outdoors. You can relax on the terrace, use the garden furniture and eat in the outdoor dining area. A barbecue and its dedicated facilities make it possible to cook outside. Free public parking is available on site, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the villa.

Inside, the kitchen has a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kitchenware. There is also a tea and coffee maker. The living room has a fireplace, a sofa and a flat-screen TV. The house has air conditioning; a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and drying rack complete the practical facilities. There is a private entrance, and the bedrooms overlook the garden or pool.

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is a small Provençal town at the foot of the Alpilles, with old lanes, shaded squares and scrubland scenery. You can explore the centre on foot: stone façades, small squares and markets set the pace of the day, while the surrounding roads pass through olive groves and limestone hills. The villa is about 3 km from the centre, in an area where a car makes getting around easier.

In the centre, the Musée des Alpilles explores the region’s history and traditions, while the Musée Estrine brings together art and works related to Vincent van Gogh. The Roman remains at Les Antiques and the archaeological site of Glanum bear witness to the ancient city. Avignon TGV station is about 19 km away; Tarascon station is 9 km away. Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes Airport is 28 km away. The trails and roads of the Alpilles also make it easy to plan a walk or bike ride.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for walks and sightseeing, with milder temperatures than in the height of summer. In summer, set off early to explore the Alpilles trails before the hottest part of the day, then visit the villages and museums in the afternoon. The market in Place de la République brings the centre to life; you can spend a day exploring Saint-Rémy, stopping at the ancient remains and taking a detour through the landscapes of the mountain range. Les Baux-de-Provence and its medieval lanes make another worthwhile excursion in the region.
