ABEILLE

ABEILLE offers three double rooms, each designed for two people and measuring 13 m². Every room has air conditioning and a private bathroom. They differ in their layout and the spaces they open onto: the room with a fully equipped kitchen opens onto a terrace overlooking the garden; another has a private entrance and a seating area. The third also includes a seating area.

Facilities vary by room. The one with a terrace includes a fridge, dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave and coffee machine, among other amenities. The other two have a safe, a kettle and a tumble dryer, among other facilities. Each room’s main configuration includes a large double bed. The room with a terrace overlooks the garden, while the other two have a seating area.

ABEILLE’s outdoor areas include a garden, a sun terrace, garden furniture and a picnic area. There is an outdoor swimming pool with parasols and sun loungers. Barbecue facilities are also available for preparing a meal outdoors. Inside, guests can gather in the shared lounge or TV room. The property has an adults-only area and a designated smoking area.

Free private parking is available, including spaces accessible to guests with reduced mobility. The shuttle service provides transport between the airport and the property for an additional charge. Private or express check-in and check-out are available. Facilities also include a safe, heating, air conditioning and soundproofed rooms. For food and drinks, ABEILLE offers an on-site café, fruit, wine or champagne, as well as a kettle and coffee machine. The shared kitchen has an electric kettle; bed linen and towels are also provided.

Vence is a small town in the Alpes-Maritimes hinterland, between the Provençal hills and the Mediterranean. Its old town, enclosed by ramparts, is best explored on foot, among little squares, narrow streets and stone façades. The town draws visitors interested in art, heritage and the landscapes of the hinterland; its atmosphere differs from that of the coastal resorts, while the coast remains within reach for a day trip.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a medieval village known for its galleries and cobbled streets, is 1.4 km away. Fondation Maeght, a modern and contemporary art museum with a sculpture garden, is 1.3 km away. In Vence, the Chapelle du Rosaire, decorated by Henri Matisse, is a notable place to visit. In Nice, you can take a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, visit Vieux-Nice or explore the collections at MAMAC. The beaches of Cagnes-sur-Mer offer another outing by the sea.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks through the villages and cultural visits, with temperatures often pleasant for exploring the hills. In summer, you can alternate morning outings through Vence’s narrow streets with afternoons by the pool or on the coast. One day could combine Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Fondation Maeght, followed by dinner in the hinterland. A car makes it easier to travel between the villages, beaches and Nice; ABEILLE’s airport shuttle can also be arranged for an additional charge.
