AptCityStay

AptCityStay offers two units for two people: an Apartment measuring 30 m² and a Standard Studio measuring 20 m². Each has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a coffee machine. Both also have a kitchen area, a fridge and utensils, so you can prepare meals on site. Their different layouts let you choose between an apartment with a kitchen and a studio with a kitchenette.

The Apartment offers more space, with a seating area and a dining area; it has a double bed. The Standard Studio has a more compact layout, parquet flooring and a sofa bed. Both units have a shower or bath, free toiletries and a hairdryer. A high chair is also provided in each unit. Bed linen is supplied, and both spaces are designed for a self-catering stay in Apt.

AptCityStay provides free Wi-Fi throughout the guest house and free public parking on the street nearby. The units are air-conditioned and non-smoking. Each has a coffee machine or a tea maker, as well as a space for preparing meals. Kitchen facilities include a fridge, an electric kettle, a microwave, an oven and a hob.

Both units also have a flat-screen TV and a streaming service. The private bathroom includes a shower or bath, free toiletries and a hairdryer; toilet paper and towels are provided. Bed linen, a dining area and a seating area complete the facilities. Heating and ironing facilities are available. Check-in is from 16:00 to 20:00, and you must communicate your arrival time in advance; check-out is before 10:00.

Apt is a Provençal town in the Vaucluse, in the middle of the Luberon. Its old town, shopping streets and squares give it the atmosphere of a lively market town, frequented by both residents of neighbouring villages and visitors to the region. AptCityStay is on rue de la République, in the central urban area. The Saturday market is a popular place to discover local produce, including the candied fruit for which Apt is known. The town suits travellers who want to alternate heritage visits, markets and excursions into the landscapes of the Luberon.

Several cultural attractions are in the centre: the Museum of History and Archaeology is 200 m away, while Sainte-Anne Cathedral is 210 m away. Saignon Gate is a reminder of the town’s former fortifications. Apt bus station is 590 m away. By car, you can reach Saignon, a hilltop village overlooking the valley, or the ochre sites around Roussillon. Fort de Buoux, a medieval remnant set in natural surroundings, is another place to visit in the Luberon.

Spring and autumn are good times for walks through the villages and outings on the trails, with temperatures often milder than in the height of summer. In summer, plan outdoor visits for the morning and save the hottest hours for a break in the centre of Apt. You could start the day at the market, continue with a visit to the museums and finish with an excursion to the hills and villages of the Luberon Regional Natural Park. A car makes it easier to travel between rural sites.
