Au cœur des baux is rented as a whole: the holiday home has two bedrooms, a lounge and a bathroom, with a maximum capacity of five people. Its 100 m² include a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. The sleeping arrangements comprise two large double beds and a sofa bed, distributed between the bedrooms and the living area.

The terrace and mountain views distinguish the living spaces, while air conditioning is useful on hot days. The kitchen includes a fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and coffee machine. There is also a washing machine. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. The house is a single private unit, suited to guests who want to share the lounge and kitchen while having two separate bedrooms.

Les Baux-de-Provence is a stone-built village perched in the Alpilles, amid limestone landscapes and Provençal hills. Its narrow lanes, vaulted passageways and old houses are best explored on foot; the village appeals to visitors drawn to heritage and walks in a rocky setting. From rue Porte Mage, you can reach the village’s historic areas by strolling along its pedestrianised streets.

Château des Baux-de-Provence overlooks the village, and its medieval ruins offer a glimpse into the site’s history. Musée Yves Brayer displays works connected with Provence, while Musée des Santons explores a regional craft tradition; they are 220 m and 110 m away respectively. For a different cultural outing, Carrières de Lumières hosts immersive exhibitions in former quarries. Maussane-les-Alpilles, 2.8 km away, is another stop amid the landscapes of the Alpilles. Arles and its Roman monuments are 15 km away.

A car makes it easier to travel between the villages, natural sites and towns in the region; free private parking is available near the house. The Alpilles trails are well suited to walks in spring and autumn, when temperatures are mild. In summer, it is best to visit the village and château early in the day, before the hottest hours. You can spend a day alternating between exploring the heritage, walking in the hills and stopping in a neighbouring village.
