CHALET FAMILIAL AURON

CHALET FAMILIAL AURON is rented as a whole: you have four bedrooms, two bathrooms and space for eight people. The chalet covers 200 m² and has four double beds, distributed between the bedrooms. This layout suits families or groups who want to share the common areas while keeping separate bedrooms.

The bathrooms have a bath or a shower. The living area combines a lounge, a fireplace and a dining area, while the kitchen is equipped for preparing meals. Several rooms overlook the garden or the mountains. A first-floor balcony, a covered terrace and a patio complete the outdoor spaces. A high chair is also available. Towels and bed linen can be hired for an additional charge; you can also bring your own.

The chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, oven, hob, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. A coffee machine, kitchenware, a dining table and a high chair complete the space. The living area includes a sofa, a lounge, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV. You will also find a washing machine, a tumble dryer, an iron and a clothes airer.

Outside, the garden, patio, balcony and terrace are furnished with outdoor furniture and a dining area. A barbecue is available. Private parking and Wi-Fi are available free of charge throughout the chalet. Mountain activity facilities include a ski school and ski storage; skiing and hiking are among the activities available in the area. The accommodation has stairs and no lift. An airport shuttle is also available for a fee.

Auron is a mountain resort in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the Tinée Valley and on the edge of Mercantour National Park. The village and its chalets are spread across an alpine landscape of forests and peaks. In winter, the resort attracts skiers; in warmer weather, hiking trails and panoramic views take centre stage. The chalet is an eight-minute walk from the village, in an area where ski lifts and resort facilities are accessible without having to travel to a large town.

Chapelle Saint-Érige, 320 m away, is one of the village’s historic landmarks. Télériou chairlift is 490 m away, while Vertige d’Auron leisure site is 590 m away. Auron ski resort, 1.3 km away, offers slopes and mountain activities. Mercantour National Park stretches around the valley, with hiking routes and natural areas to explore. Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée, 3.3 km away, offers another stop in the valley. Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport is the main air access point; the road from Nice passes through the landscapes of the Alpes-Maritimes.

In winter, bring suitable clothing and snow gear, and check local piste conditions before heading to higher altitudes. From June through autumn, the trails let you explore the mountains on foot, with longer days for planning a hike. You can divide a day between resort activities and a stroll through the village, then head out to explore the landscapes of Mercantour. For mountain excursions, a car makes it easier to reach the valley’s different hiking trailheads.
