Chalet Wallis is rented as a whole: guests have the use of a 120 m² chalet that sleeps up to ten people. The sleeping area has one bedroom, while four bathrooms make group stays more convenient. The Roubines ski lifts are 280 m away, and several other access points to the slopes are spread across the resort. Isola 2000 is 790 m away. Mercantour National Park surrounds this high-altitude area, known for its Alpine scenery and hiking routes. Col de la Lombarde, 3.9 km away, is a mountain pass between France and Italy. Nice is the region’s main city, and its airport is one possible way to reach the area; the drive follows mountain roads. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding valleys and villages.

In winter, days revolve around skiing, followed by a return to the chalet to enjoy the fireplace and the view. Summer is suited to walks and excursions in Mercantour, when the trails are accessible. Conditions vary with altitude and season, so bring suitable clothing, even in summer. If you enjoy the scenery, you can spend a day exploring the mountain passes and views along the Alpine border, then return to the resort for a quiet evening.
