Château Mentone

Château Mentone offers five options for two people: a Double Room, Superior Double Room, Chalet, Deluxe Double Room and Suite. The rooms and Suite have a private bathroom, air conditioning and a garden view. Their sizes range from 17 to 45 m², and several categories include a seating area.

The Chalet stands out for its equipped kitchenette, balcony and terrace overlooking the pool; it also has a dining area and coffee machine. The Deluxe Double Room has a bathtub as well as a shower. The largest category, the Suite, includes a separate bedroom, two living areas and two bathrooms. The accommodation is soundproofed, and each option is designed for two people.

Château Mentone brings together several spaces where you can enjoy the estate without planning every activity outside it. The garden opens onto a terrace and outdoor dining areas, with garden furniture and a picnic area. A barbecue is available. Guests looking for activities can use the tennis court or go for a walk or cycle ride in the surrounding area.

The restaurant, bar and on-site café offer different ways to take a break or enjoy a meal. Breakfast is served à la carte or as a continental option; the restaurant also offers children’s menus. For wellness, the estate has a spa, hammam, hot tub and massage treatments. Free private parking includes an electric vehicle charging point and spaces for guests with reduced mobility. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms.

Masseboeuf lies in the Var hinterland, among the small roads, wooded hills and vineyards of Provence Verte. The landscape alternates between Provençal villages, wine estates and forests, away from the large seaside resorts. The region suits travellers who enjoy exploring the countryside by car, stopping in small towns and combining heritage visits with quiet moments.

Saint-Antonin-du-Var and Entrecasteaux offer a chance to discover the architecture of the hinterland villages. Château d'Entrecasteaux overlooks the village and recalls the region’s seigneurial history. The surrounding wine estates offer another way to explore the area, while Thoronet Abbey, a remarkable Cistercian complex built of stone, makes for a memorable excursion. Villecroze also draws visitors with its caves and heritage. A car is useful for these visits; Vidauban railway station is 16 km away. Toulon-Hyères Airport is 47 km away.

In spring and autumn, milder temperatures are well suited to walks through the villages and along the wine routes. In summer, the pool offers a break after excursions, although the heat can make outings in the middle of the day less pleasant. One day could combine a morning visit to Thoronet Abbey, lunch in a nearby village and a stop at a wine estate. The Var coast is accessible for a longer excursion, while the hinterland offers roads lined with vineyards and pine trees.
