Nice is worth visiting all year round: the seafront is especially popular in fine weather, while museums, markets and old neighbourhoods offer enjoyable places to visit out of season. You could start the day at the Libération market, continue through the Chagall Museum’s galleries, then head to the Promenade des Anglais to walk along the bay. In summer, plan outdoor visits for the morning or late afternoon; in spring and autumn, the mild temperatures are well suited to walks between the city centre and the sea.
