Chez Catherine

Chez Catherine offers two types of accommodation: a double room for two people and a family room for up to four guests. Both have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The family room consists of two separate bedrooms on the same floor; it has a private bathroom and is suitable for stays with children.

The double room measures 12 m² and includes a dressing room. It offers several views of the garden, mountains, town or inner courtyard, as well as a bath and shower. The larger family room measures 22 m² and has a double bed and two bunk beds. Its windows also look out over different views of the village and surrounding area. The two rooms differ in capacity and layout: the family room has a private bathroom, while the double room has a bath and shower.

The shared spaces include a garden and terrace, as well as a lounge with a TV. You can take a break at the bar, and breakfast is served each morning. The family rooms and air conditioning make the property suitable for different types of traveller. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Guests arriving by car can use the free public parking on site; an electric vehicle charging station is also available. The rooms are non-smoking and the entire property is non-smoking. Shared facilities include ironing equipment, heating and a fan. The rooms have a flat-screen TV, and the bathrooms are equipped with a shower or bath and a hairdryer. The upper floors are accessible by stairs only. Pets are allowed, possibly for an additional charge.

Roquebrune-sur Argens is a Provençal village whose old town retains narrow lanes, historic gateways and religious buildings. Around its squares and stone façades, it has the feel of a Var village, away from the bustle of the coast. Visitors can wander through the old village, explore its heritage and reach the natural landscapes of the Argens and the Massif des Maures.

Jardin François Avois and Porte du Bourget are in the village, as is Maison du Patrimoine, dedicated to local history. Le Portalet and several chapels add to a walk among the historic monuments. Outdoor enthusiasts can head to Rocher de Roquebrune, a distinctive rock formation in the landscape, or to the vineyards in the surrounding area. Fréjus train station is 7 km away; the coast and the beaches of Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël can be reached by car. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 64 km away.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walks around the village, visits to its heritage sites and trips to the natural areas, with temperatures often milder than in summer. In summer, you can combine visits to the old town with a day on the beaches of the Gulf of Fréjus. By car, you can also spend a day visiting the villages and vineyards of the Var, then return to dine in the village. For a more active outing, the trails around Rocher de Roquebrune offer hiking over rugged terrain.
