Chez Ventura

Chez Ventura offers two air-conditioned double rooms and a one-bedroom loft apartment. Both rooms have a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The first measures 17 m²; the second, at 20 m², offers more space while keeping a similar layout. Both have an outdoor dining area and a very large double bed. The bathrooms have a shower or a bath.

The loft apartment stands out for its 100 m² of space and layout, with a separate bedroom and a living room. It includes a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen has a fridge, oven, microwave, utensils and a coffee machine. Sleeping arrangements comprise a large double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. This layout gives guests more independence if they want a living space and the option to prepare their own meals.

Chez Ventura brings together shared spaces and practical facilities for stays in Barjols. The garden and sun terrace let you enjoy the outdoors. Inside, the shared lounge also serves as a TV room. Board games and puzzles are available, and housekeeping is provided daily. Air conditioning, heating and ironing facilities are among the amenities provided.

Its centre can be explored on foot, with historic buildings and village life offering a glimpse of a Provence less urban than the coast. The destination suits travellers who want to discover the hinterland, visit neighbouring villages and alternate between heritage sites and outdoor activities. Summer days are often hot; spring and early autumn are well suited to walks and excursions.

The collegiate church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption is 540 m away and is a local heritage landmark in the village centre. The Maison régionale de l’eau, 720 m away, offers an introduction to water resources and aquatic environments. The Verdon Regional Natural Park, 7 km away, opens onto rugged landscapes and outdoor activities. Cotignac Waterfall, 10 km away, is another possible excursion in the area. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding villages and natural sites; places in the centre of Barjols can be reached on foot.

Allow a day to wander around the village and visit its heritage sites, then plan another outing to the landscapes of the Verdon or the area around Cotignac. In spring, temperatures are generally pleasant for walking; summer brings long days, though it is best to plan outings for the morning or late afternoon when it is hot. In September, the light and milder temperatures make for a pleasant visit to the Var hinterland. Country roads also make it easy to plan a route between several villages, rather than limiting your stay to the centre of Barjols.
