Clos Shambhala-Chalet d'hôtes

Le Clos Shambhala offers three self-contained chalets, each arranged for two people. All three have a bedroom, a large double bed, a private bathroom with a shower and a seating area. The kitchenette lets you prepare meals on site and is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, a hob, a kettle and a coffee machine. The chalets also have a flat-screen TV and a private entrance.

Two chalets measure 20 m², while the third is more spacious at 30 m². Views of the garden and mountains, along with a balcony, bring the outdoors into the accommodation. Two of the chalets have a terrace, while the 30 m² chalet stands out for its dishwasher. Kitchen facilities and outdoor spaces therefore vary from one chalet to another.

The self-contained chalets are on the ground floor. Each has an outdoor dining area, garden furniture and a balcony, while some also have a terrace. The garden extends the living spaces outdoors, while views of the garden and mountains offer a glimpse of the alpine landscape. Indoors, soundproofed bedrooms and heating make for a comfortable stay in any season. Luggage storage is also available.

The area offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, horse riding, canoeing, fishing and skiing. The chalet facilities make self-catering easy: a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, hob, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. Some chalets also have a dishwasher. A flat-screen TV is provided, and Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. The chalets accommodate adults; pets are allowed on request, and a surcharge may apply.

Saint-Jean-Saint-Nicolas lies in the Champsaur, an alpine valley in the Hautes-Alpes where villages, meadows and mountain slopes make up the landscape. The village of Saint-Jean-Saint-Nicolas is 480 m away; Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste and Musée Ecole d'autrefois are also within walking distance. At 1.4 km, Écomusée L’ancienne maison paysanne offers a glimpse of local rural life. Skiers can reach Domaine Skiable Saint-Léger-Les-Mélèzes, 2.8 km away. Écrins National Park offers protected landscapes, hiking trails and high-mountain views. A car makes it easier to travel between the villages, trailheads and ski resorts.
