Cocooning Avignon

Cocooning Avignon offers two 40 m² suites, each designed for two people and featuring a private bathroom. Both are air-conditioned and soundproofed, and have a coffee machine. They open onto a patio and offer views of the garden, the city or an inner courtyard.

The Suite Deluxe includes a private seating area with a fireplace and alcove, as well as a table for breakfast. The Suite Confort avec Cuisine stands out for its kitchenette, equipped with a refrigerator, hob, oven and microwave, and its dining area. Each suite has one extra-large double bed. Breakfast can be served in your room on request. The bathrooms include free toiletries and a hairdryer.

The guest house has a patio and garden, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout. The suites are air-conditioned and have private bathrooms; some amenities include a seating area, a coffee machine and views of the city or garden. Daily housekeeping and luggage storage are also available.

A café is available on site, along with fruit, wine and champagne. Continental breakfast can be served in your room on request; it includes pastries, fresh fruit and homemade jams, among other things. Once the city of the popes, Avignon brings together medieval heritage, Provençal life and cultural events. You can explore the streets on foot, stop at a shaded square or head to the banks of the Rhône for a walk. The neighbourhood is particularly suited to travellers who want to explore the monuments and museums without arranging every journey by car.

The Palais des Papes dominates the square of the same name and lets you explore the rooms of the former papal palace. The Pont Saint-Bénézet, recognisable by its unfinished arches, tells another part of the city’s story. The city walls still surround much of the centre; Notre-Dame-des-Doms Cathedral and the Rocher gardens round off the visit. Avignon-Centre station is 900 m away, making it easy to reach the centre on foot when you arrive. Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes Airport is 37 km away.

Spring and autumn bring pleasant temperatures for visiting the monuments and strolling through the streets. In July, the Festival d'Avignon turns the city into a theatre stage, with performances in venues and historic sites. You can start the day at the palace and nearby lanes, take a break in a garden, then finish by the Rhône. Les Halles d'Avignon also offer a chance to discover local produce and the atmosphere of a Provençal market.
