Coeur des Hommes

Coeur des Hommes offers an entire 230 m² villa arranged around five bedrooms, a lounge and five bathrooms. It can accommodate up to ten guests. The bedrooms are in the same property, which has en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and views of the garden or swimming pool. Beds include single beds, large double beds and a sofa bed.

The communal spaces are designed for spending time together: the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob and coffee machine. The lounge has a seating area and a flat-screen TV. A balcony and terrace extend the rooms towards the garden and private swimming pool. The property also includes a washing machine, tumble dryer and kitchenware. The outdoor swimming pool is open all year round, and the garden also has a children’s playground.

The villa has a private outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a fitness centre. The garden is furnished with outdoor furniture, a sun terrace and an outdoor dining area. There is also a barbecue for cooking outside. For recreation, you will find a table tennis table, badminton equipment, darts and outdoor games for children. An indoor play area and board games are also available.

Private parking is free and includes an electric vehicle charging point; a parking space for guests with reduced mobility is available. Wi-Fi is free throughout the villa. Inside, the kitchen has an oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. The shared lounge, flat-screen TV and air conditioning complete the facilities. Pets are allowed on request at no extra charge.

Le Thor is in Vaucluse, on the Comtat Venaissin plain, between Avignon and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. This Provençal town has a rural setting, with villages, farmland and roads winding through the landscape. The villa makes it easy to enjoy a group stay while keeping Avignon within reach for a day trip; a car makes it easier to explore the surrounding area and natural attractions.

Thouzon Cave, 2 km away, has underground galleries and limestone formations. In the village, the Porte de l’Horloge and the church of Le Thor reflect the local heritage. Avignon, 12 km from the Palais des Papes and 13 km from the Pont Saint-Bénézet, is worth visiting for its historic centre, ramparts and medieval monuments. L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is known for its canals, water wheels and antique markets. Gadagne railway station is 1 km from the villa, while Le Thor railway station is 2.6 km away.

Spring and autumn are well suited to walking and trips to the villages of Vaucluse, with generally milder temperatures than in summer. In summer, you can alternate visits to Avignon with time by the swimming pool; on hot days, breaks in the shade are particularly welcome. A day could begin with a visit to Thouzon Cave, continue through the lanes of Avignon and end in the villa’s garden. Provençal markets and agricultural landscapes also offer a chance to discover the region’s produce and seasonal rhythms.
