Domaine de La Blache

Domaine de La Blache offers eight holiday homes, all listed under the same name and distinguished by their size, capacity and layout. They have a kitchen, a private bathroom, air conditioning and a terrace with views of the garden and mountains. Several also have a balcony. Sizes range from 40 to 100 m², with accommodation for four to seven people depending on the layout. Sleeping arrangements include double beds, single beds, bunk beds and sofa beds; some homes have one bedroom, others have two, and one has two living rooms.

Kitchen facilities include a refrigerator, an oven, a hob, a microwave, a kettle and a coffee machine. There is also a seating area and a washing machine. The terraces and outdoor furniture provide space for meals or relaxing outdoors, with views of the surrounding countryside.

The outdoor areas include a garden, a sun terrace, outdoor furniture and a picnic area. A barbecue and dedicated facilities let you cook outside, while an outdoor dining area makes family meals easy. On-site activities include table tennis, outdoor play equipment for children and board games. Concerts and shows, as well as evening entertainment, are also among the activities on offer.

The restaurant serves meals and offers wine or champagne; a buffet with options for children is also available. Breakfast is Italian-style. The kitchens in the homes have a coffee machine and equipment for preparing meals. Private parking is free, and Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the homes. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Pets are allowed, possibly for an extra charge, and bowls are available. The surrounding area is suitable for hiking, cycling, walking, horse riding, canoeing and windsurfing.

Saint-Jurs is a village in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, amid a rural landscape of hills, fields and small communities. The Verdon Regional Natural Park forms the backdrop for outings, with country roads, hiking trails and Provençal villages. This location suits travellers who want to alternate days outdoors with quiet moments in a self-contained home. A car makes it easier to get between natural sites, villages and local shops.

Lake Sainte-Croix, 7 km away, is a place to enjoy the shore and water sports. Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, known for its village set among the hills and its faience workshops, is another popular excursion in the Verdon area. The villages of Bras-d’Asse and Estoublon offer quieter stops along the local roads. Mézel–Châteauredon train station is 11 km away; Marseille Provence Airport is 119 km away. On site, the restaurant and terraces provide a place to take a break without getting back in the car.

In spring and autumn, the temperatures are well suited to hiking and visiting villages. In summer, hot days are ideal for swimming and water activities, while early morning starts are best for walking in exposed areas. The lavender fields of the Valensole plateau attract visitors in early summer, depending on the season’s conditions. You can combine a walk by the lake with a visit to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, then return to Saint-Jurs to enjoy the terrace.
