Domaine de Matourne

Le Domaine de Matourne is rented as a whole: you have a 600 m² villa with twelve bedrooms and twelve bathrooms. The layout includes fifteen beds, mainly double beds and a few single beds. The villa has a maximum capacity of twenty-four people. Each group stay therefore takes place in a single house, with a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor areas accessible from the property.

The villa has a private pool, a sauna, a fireplace and air conditioning. A balcony overlooks the garden, while a terrace and outdoor furniture extend the living spaces. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, an oven, a hob, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a coffee machine. A high chair, washing machine and tumble dryer are also provided. The bathroom has a bath and a shower.

Le Domaine de Matourne has a private outdoor pool, a sauna and a ping-pong table. The garden is equipped with outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities; the terrace and balcony provide additional outdoor spaces. The villa also has a fireplace, air conditioning and board games or puzzles. It is a detached property with family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

The kitchen includes a hob, an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster and an electric kettle. A coffee machine, dining table, high chair and kitchenware are also provided. You have access to a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Private parking is free, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa at no extra charge. Pets are welcome at no extra charge. A concierge service completes the facilities available.

Flayosc is a Provençal village in the Var, surrounded by hills and rural scenery. Its narrow streets and squares make for peaceful walks, while the vineyards and nearby villages give the area an agricultural, southern French character. Le Domaine de Matourne is in the countryside, a few kilometres from the centre of Flayosc; a car is useful for reaching shops, sights and neighbouring villages.

In the village, Saint-Laurent Church and the old streets offer a brief introduction to the local heritage. Ampus, another Provençal village, has the Porte Sarrasine, a remnant of its former fortifications. Local wine estates, including Le Cellier des 3 Collines and Château Thuerry, offer an insight into the Var wine-growing region. For an outing in nature, Sauveclare Waterfall is one of the nearby sights. Draguignan, with its museums and public spaces, offers another place to visit. Les Arcs–Draguignan railway station is 14 km away; several airports serve the region, including Toulon-Hyères Airport.

You can spend your days alternating walks around the villages, visits to wine cellars and time back at the villa enjoying the pool or garden. In spring and autumn, temperatures are often suitable for walks and visits to wine estates; in summer, you can favour activities early in the morning and late in the day. The Provençal markets and surrounding villages are pleasant to explore on an outing, without having to fit in too many stops. For a more active day, country paths and the Var's hilly terrain offer opportunities for walking, depending on the season and local conditions.
