Domaine la Carraire

Lauris Château and its dye-plant garden offer a first stroll through the village. Lourmarin, known for its narrow streets and Renaissance château, is 2.8 km away. The Cedar Forest has shaded trails and views of the mountain range; Fort de Buoux can be visited on an excursion through a rocky landscape. Pertuis train station is 16 km away and Marseille Provence Airport is 35 km away. A car makes it easier to travel between the villages and natural sites in the region.

Spring and autumn are particularly suitable for walks, when temperatures are milder. In summer, sunny days invite you to alternate morning visits with breaks in the shade; lavender fields add colour to some Provençal landscapes in late June and July. A day can combine a visit to Lourmarin with a walk in the forest, followed by a stop in a nearby village to sample local produce.
