Domaine Les Gendalis

Domaine Les Gendalis offers five 25 m² rooms for two people, in double or twin configurations. You can choose between one large double bed and two single beds. Each room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, a patio or terrace and a flat-screen TV. A private entrance and soundproofing complete the accommodation.

The rooms open onto the garden, and some also overlook the inner courtyard. They have a private swimming pool and a hot tub. A desk, dining table, hairdryer and free toiletries are also provided. The double and twin rooms are the same size and have a similar layout; only the bed configuration differs.

The seasonal outdoor swimming pool provides a place to relax in the garden. You can also enjoy a private hot tub, massages, a sun terrace and areas set up for outdoor dining. The barbecue, picnic area and outdoor furniture add to the facilities for spending time outside. A shared lounge with a TV offers a place to gather indoors.

Continental or buffet breakfast is served on site, with menus for specific dietary requirements available on request. The shared kitchen includes a fridge, oven, microwave and kettle. Free private parking is available on site without prior reservation. Wi-Fi is free in the shared areas. The rooms have air conditioning, a private bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Room service, luggage storage and private check-in or check-out are also available.

Saint-Saturnin-les-Avignon is a Provençal village on the Comtat Venaissin plain, west of Avignon. The surrounding area alternates between farmland, villages and wine estates; the countryside is well suited to walks and stops at local producers. The village has a quieter pace than its nearby neighbour, while making it possible to plan days that combine heritage, markets and the landscapes of Vaucluse.

Avignon brings together the region’s major historical sights. The Palace of the Popes tells the story of the city’s papal past, while Pont Saint-Bénézet can be explored on the banks of the Rhône. The ramparts and lanes of the old town round out a walk through the city. Avignon-Centre station is 12 km away, and a local station is 1.5 km away. Nîmes-Alès-Camargue-Cévennes Airport is 45 km away. A car makes it easier to explore the villages, vineyards and natural sites. Mont Ventoux, a prominent landmark in the Vaucluse landscape, draws walkers and cyclists.

In spring and autumn, temperatures are pleasant for visiting Avignon or travelling along the roads of the Comtat. In summer, plan outdoor visits for early morning and leave time to enjoy the swimming pool during the hottest hours. The lavender usually flowers from late June to July, depending on the area, colouring the Provençal landscape. For a day out, you can combine a morning in Avignon’s historic centre with a stop in a nearby village, then return in the late afternoon to enjoy the garden.
