Ecolodges en Provence

The accommodation consists of three lodges, two of which are called Lodge with Indoor Hot Tub and the third Lodge with Outdoor Hot Tub. All have a private bathroom, kitchenette, air conditioning, terrace and garden view. The kitchenette is equipped for preparing meals, with a refrigerator, oven, hob, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a dining area.

The two lodges with an indoor hot tub measure 27 and 35 m² respectively: the latter is the more spacious of the two. The lodge with an outdoor hot tub measures 24 m² and adds a sofa bed alongside the large double bed. All three categories accommodate up to two people. Their terraces have outdoor furniture and space for dining outside. Each lodge combines sleeping and dining areas with private leisure facilities.

The outdoor areas include a garden, terrace and outdoor furniture, as well as an outdoor dining area and a sun terrace. For relaxation, you will find a spa, private hot tub, open-air bath and massage services. Wellness packages and a spa relaxation area complete the facilities for unwinding. The outdoor swimming pool is open seasonally.

There is an on-site café, and the property offers wine or champagne as well as breakfast in your room. A kettle and coffee machine are also available. Free private parking includes an indoor space and access for guests with reduced mobility. Wi-Fi is free in the communal areas. Activities nearby include walking, cycling, hiking and horse riding; cycling tours and activities centred on local culture are also available. Sun loungers and parasols let you make the most of the outdoor areas.

Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume lies in the Var hinterland, at the foot of the Sainte-Baume massif. The town combines old streets, Provençal squares and hilly landscapes, in a region where outdoor activities go hand in hand with heritage visits. The surrounding countryside suits travellers who want to alternate walks, visits to villages and time to relax in a rural setting.

The Basilica of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, a major monument in the town and a place of pilgrimage, is 3.7 km away. Its scale and Gothic architecture make it a memorable visit in the historic centre. The Sainte-Baume massif has hiking trails and panoramic views over the Var landscape; the Borne du Saint-Pilon is one of the area's hiking landmarks. A car makes it easier to explore the villages and natural sites. Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume bus stop is 3.9 km away.

In spring and autumn, temperatures are well suited to walks and visits to the basilica. In summer, the heat makes it worth planning hikes early in the morning, then enjoying shaded areas or the swimming pool. A day can combine a visit to the centre of Saint-Maximin, a walk in the massif and a stop in a nearby village.
