Eden

Eden is available as a whole: the 150 m² villa has four bedrooms and can accommodate up to eight people. This layout allows families or groups to have separate bedrooms and shared spaces in the same house. All four bedrooms have a large double bed. The villa has two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower, as well as a private kitchen equipped for preparing meals.

The living room has a lounge area, a sofa and a fireplace. Air conditioning, a washing machine and a dishwasher make longer stays easier. Outside, the terrace overlooks the garden and has a dining area; a barbecue is also available. The private pool and views of the garden or inner courtyard set this house apart from the rooms offered in a traditional hotel.

Eden has a private outdoor pool surrounded by a fence and equipped with sun loungers and parasols. The garden, sun terrace and outdoor furniture provide several places to enjoy time outside. An outdoor dining area and a barbecue make it possible to eat in the garden. Inside, the villa has a shared lounge with a TV, as well as board games and a table tennis table.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. A washing machine, ironing equipment and a drying rack are also available. The house has a fireplace, air conditioning and heating. Private parking is free, and pets are welcome at no extra charge. The accommodation does not have an internet connection.

Le Thor is in the Pays des Sorgues, west of Avignon, amid Vaucluse countryside dotted with waterways, orchards and villages. The town has an old centre around its church and the Porte de l’Horloge. This region suits travellers who want to alternate walks through Provençal villages with heritage visits and days by the water. Small roads cross agricultural landscapes and connect neighbouring towns, where markets are part of local life.

The Thouzon cave and Thouzon Castle, both less than a kilometre away, offer an outing near Le Thor: the cave’s limestone formations are open to visitors, while the castle ruins stand on a hill. Velleron Market, 2.8 km away, is a place to discover local produce. Avignon is 14 km away; its Palace of the Popes bears witness to its papal past, and the Pont Saint-Bénézet overlooks the Rhône. Le Thor train station, 2.9 km away, serves regional travel; a car makes it easier to explore the surrounding villages and countryside.

Spring and autumn are pleasant seasons for sightseeing and walks, with temperatures generally milder than in the height of summer. In summer, the pool offers a place to relax after an outing, while markets and the lanes of local towns are best explored early in the day. You could combine a visit to the Thouzon cave with a walk around Avignon, then finish the day on the villa’s terrace.
