The 40 m² house has a separate bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. It can accommodate up to four guests. The bathroom is private, and the entire accommodation has air conditioning. The kitchen has the main appliances you need to prepare meals: a hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a flat-screen TV.

The terrace extends the living space outdoors and has a dining area. The private entrance provides direct access to the accommodation, which is on the ground floor. A high chair, clothes airer and ironing equipment complete the facilities. The layout combines a bedroom and living room, with a large double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room.

The gîte has free private parking on site and free Wi-Fi. It is air-conditioned and also has heating for cooler periods. The garden and terrace provide outdoor spaces, with a dining area where you can eat. For relaxing by the seasonal outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers, parasols, pool or beach towels and a pool cover are provided. Pool toys are also available.

Inside, the kitchen is equipped for preparing meals, with a fridge, hob and dishwasher among its appliances. The flat-screen TV, washing machine and board games or puzzles provide practical extras for stays with family or friends.

Mazan is a village in the Vaucluse, in the Comtat Venaissin, at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Its landscape blends village houses, farmland and vineyards, with the slopes of Ventoux in the background. The pace is Provençal and more village-like than that of larger towns, suiting travellers who want to alternate walks, heritage visits and outings in nature. You can explore Mazan’s lanes and squares at a leisurely pace, while the surrounding wine estates give the countryside its agricultural character.

In the village, the Château du Marquis de Sade is 1.6 km away and bears witness to local history. The Jardin de l’Auzon and the Cascade du Bigourd, 1.5 km and 1.4 km away respectively, offer green places to pause. The municipal museum and the Église Saint-Nazaire-et-Saint-Celse provide an insight into Mazan’s heritage. Carpentras, whose railway station is 5 km away, is a convenient stop for getting around the area. Local roads lead to the villages of the Comtat and the routes that climb towards Mont Ventoux.

Spring and autumn are good seasons for village walks and visits to wine estates. In summer, the days are suited to morning outings and breaks in the shade before the hottest hours. Hikers and cyclists can plan an excursion into the landscapes of Ventoux, adjusting the effort to the season. For a more leisurely day, combine a visit to Mazan with a stroll through a garden or a stop in a neighbouring village; the region is also worth visiting out of season, when roads and attractions are less busy.
