Port Saint-Pierre, 3 km away, is the departure point for crossings to Porquerolles. In the centre of Hyères, the Collégiale Saint-Paul and the lanes of the medieval quarter offer a stroll past old façades and small squares. Hyères railway station is 2.7 km away and Toulon-Hyères Airport is 1.7 km away.

The warmer months are good for swimming and boat trips, but the beaches are busier in July and August. In spring and September, temperatures are still suitable for walks on the peninsula and visits to the historic centre. You could spend the day with a morning on the coastal path, a break in the old town and, depending on conditions, a trip to Porquerolles. The mistral can make the sea rough and change conditions for watersports; coastal paths and town visits offer other ways to explore the area.
