Hotel Cristol offers three room categories: Double Room, Family Double Room and Twin Room with Extra Bed. The Double Rooms measure 15 m²; the other two categories have 17 m². The first accommodates two people, while the Family Double Room and Twin Room with Extra Bed can sleep up to three. All have a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and soundproofing.

The rooms overlook the garden or inner courtyard and have a patio. A private entrance and dining area provide practical spaces to settle in. The Double Room is the most compact category, while the two 17 m² rooms offer more space. The Family Double Room has a two-double-bed configuration; the Twin Room with Extra Bed is another option for travellers who prefer that category. You can combine sightseeing with time in the garden, in a part of the city where having a car is useful.

The Palace of the Popes, a vast Gothic building overlooking the square of the same name, is 4.4 km away. Pont Saint-Bénézet, known for its song and the arches that remain above the Rhône, is 4.6 km away. Within the city walls, the Musée Angladon displays artworks in a historic townhouse. Avignon-Centre, 4 km away, serves the city centre; the TGV station is about a twenty-minute drive away. The hotel’s free private parking makes it easier to get to these various places.

The old town can be visited year-round, but the mild days of spring and autumn are particularly suited to walks among the city walls, museums and shady squares. In summer, the Festival d’Avignon brings the city to life with performances in theatres and open-air shows; allow extra time to get around the centre. You can start the day at the Palace of the Popes, continue through the narrow streets and finish on the banks of the Rhône. The TGV station also makes regional trips without a car an option.
